And to top if off, he wasn’t anything like the overly conceited jerks I was used to working with––and that surprised me more than anything, considering he was built like a fucking machine and had the cock size to back it all up too.

I turned on the faucet just to have something to do while I milled over my situation. I should at least be prepared for him again. On the last set he kept asking questions like that was his job. I laughed at first, but he just wouldn’t stop with the silly questions.

Turning off the faucet, I stared down at my manicured hands and felt my stomach churn. Was I just nervous about this new role or was I embarrassed for being a bitch and walking off-set last time?

What was it that really set me off that day?

Calming down a little, I tried to rationalize what really happened. He was just asking questions, right? Maybe he was just nervous––that was supposed to be his first film. I mean, if I were to be honest, my first film wasn’t exactly a walk in the park.

Maybe I had been a bitch, but I also couldn’t forget how I felt when he asked the final question that set me off that day.

Right before I walked off, he asked me if liked doing these films and being treated this way. Recalling that moment filled me with the shame and hurt I had felt that day. And it pissed me off all over again.

Who was he to judge? He was the one about to use me on set.

When I finally felt like I could deal with the situation, I turned for the door. My hand shook slightly as I grasped the cold metal handle and turned it with as much confidence as I could muster. Just because I wasn’t happy with the guy, didn’t mean I couldn’t perform my job. I had promised Viviana after my outburst that I could still do this. He was no worse than the other jerks I’d been on film with.

As I walked through the door, all hope of having an orgasm was lost. I’d have to go back to my regular performance for the camera and fake it.

Maria directed me over to the kitchen sink. I glanced down and tilted the handle, turning on the water and grabbed a plate from the sink.

“And Go!” I heard Viviana say behind me. Nervousness kicked in throughout my body. My heart beat furiously inside my chest as I waited for Blake to approach me.

The moment I felt his hands on my waist, I flinched and dropped the plate in my hand. The clank of it hitting the sink echoed throughout the room.

Along with everyone breathing out an annoyed sigh. Crap.

“Cut!” Viviana’s voice rang through the set. Her heels clicked across the tiled floor and I closed my eyes. I couldn’t even get through a stupid normal scene with the guy. What the hell is wrong with me?

I didn’t even want to look at Blake’s face. I heard him exhale as if he were annoyed with me already. Figures. He’d messed up that job for me. Maybe he thought I was doing this on purpose to screw this one up for him.

He stepped back as Viviana approached me. I watched her take a deep breath and give me a warm smile; one I was sure was as fake as the orgasm I’d have to produce later on. There was no way I’d be able to perform without faking. I was sure of it now.

“Hey. Are you doing all right?” She asked in a voice meant to sound genuine, but the way she could fake it made me wonder if she had done her share of films too.

“Yeah. I just… I didn’t think he was right behind me. Slippery fingers, I guess.” I shrugged hoping she wouldn’t notice how nervous I really was.

What the hell? She’s a therapist, right? I should be able to say it all to her.

“I, umm.” I swallowed and looked down. “I just feel like I should do what I usually do. You know, just fake it.”

“Well, that’s certainly up to you, but Blake hasn’t even begun and you’re very jittery.”

I couldn’t look at her and only nodded my head. My heart was beating out of my chest. I never react this way on set, but I usually know exactly what to expect. With Blake I have no idea what he’s going to do to give me what I really need.

I smiled at Viviana as I tried to gather my thoughts. “I just don’t think this scene is really what I need.” I looked around the kitchen, knowing in a few frames he’d be hiking up my skirt and banging me from behind. Not that I mind, that feels great and all, but there was no way I’d reach orgasm that way and I doubted it would make much of a training session for those watching.

“Well, if you had listened to me earlier, you’d know this isn’t where the real action will take place.” She smiled to ease her chastising words.

“Oh, I mean, I listened earlier, but …” My lies began to trail off and I knew I should just stop because I wasn’t making any sense at all.

“Lexi, this is just the scene to create the warmth between you two. Those watching will be mostly married couples. Couples who do the normal every day things together and I just wanted the setting to reflect that.” She leaned against the counter as I tried to remain focused. I glanced around the room and watched everyone mill around pretending not to pay attention to our conversation.

I had never stopped a scene before and I felt horrible. Everyone was waiting on me. They had to be just as annoyed with me as I had been with Blake on our last set together.

“Let’s take a walk for a moment,” Viviana said, surprising me. Again, my eyes darted around the room. “Forget about all of them. They get paid regardless if they work or not.”

My mouth dropped open. My usual directors would never say anything like that. Time is money in this business and right now I was wasting it.

We walked off set and into the hallway, then down to another room. This office was much like her real office and I wondered if that was to make me feel more comfortable. I sat on the couch feeling terrible that she had to talk to me now. It was a normal scene and here I was complicating it. Blake probably thought I was doing this on purpose.

“I realize your normal sets are usually go-go-go. That isn’t the case here. It’s going to be very relaxing with Blake. His only objective is to make sure you are pleased. And that doesn’t mean just with your lower parts. It means with every aspect of your body.”

I laughed. “Um, yeah, maybe we shouldn’t bother and just go straight for the sex. I know you want these videos to be all romantic and such, but most couples aren’t like that. Especially, with limited time.” I knew that for a fact since my last relationship hadn’t worked out because time together was scarce between the demands of our jobs. Not that he knew what my job was, but that was beside the point.

“Can you go with me on this? Just go with the flow. You’re getting paid regardless of what happens here. Just pretend to fit into the role of a wife for now. Maybe escaping into someone else’s world will help you with what you’re hoping to achieve.”

I doubted that. Stress wasn’t going to help women handle their sex lives.

“What do you have to lose?”

I shook my head. “Nothing. You’re right. I have nothing to lose right now.”

“Just trust me on this and don’t fake any orgasms. That will only go against what we’re both trying to achieve.”

I nodded knowing she was right. Just go with it.

  Chapter Four

A moment later I was back on the set. I turned on the faucet and again pretended to be doing the dishes. Just like the time before, my hands wouldn’t stop shaking. I tried to focus so I wouldn’t drop the plate the moment Blake touched me again.

And there it was. His hand slid around my waist as his lips feathered along my ear lobe. I felt his hot breath before his lips met my skin. At that point, I realized I wasn’t sure if she wanted me to start moaning or to have a fight with him. I mean, isn’t that what usually happens with couples? He should be doing the dishes and helping out around the house. There it was…I started thinking too much. I was tense and I knew he could feel it too.

“Relax,” his deep voice whispered. The touch of his fingers on my stomach threw me for a loop and I felt the goose bumps spread over my skin.

His other hand swept my hair off my sho
ulder and around to the other side of my neck. “I just want you to feel me.”

I felt him all right. His hard length was not tough to miss pressed against my backside. I let out a breath and tried not to forget what I was doing. This was a training video, not a video on having a fight with your husband.

The moment his hand reached down to tug at the bottom of my skirt, I couldn’t help but feel the anger. Romantic video, my ass. This was just another porn and we’d do it on the counter. I knew it. Fake it. I’ll go with it and fake it for the sake of the video. I was sure Viviana would just analyze it later anyway. What the hell was I paying her for anyway? Wait, she’s paying me for this.

Go with it. I knew in my mind I had to, but my reflexes weren’t feeling it. I slapped his hand away and spun into his arms. Facing him now, I could see the surprise in his eyes. I guess that wasn’t part of the script, but I was promised this wouldn’t be like my usual videos and here it seemed like it was.

“Are you upset I didn’t do the dishes tonight?” He asked. The glint in his eye wasn’t hard to miss nor was the feel of his body against mine.

I nodded, still angry because this wasn’t what she’d promised me. I expected him to throw me on the counter next and spread my legs. It was a good thing I was wearing panties so the camera couldn’t get that pussy shot they usually try for. Thinking of the typical sets I’m on, I glanced around and realized there wasn’t a camera guy ready to get the up-the-skirt shot. Was I supposed to spread my legs? Confused about what to do, I just went with it.

Okay, Lexi. Get in the zone.

  Married couple.

No time for usual sex together.

Sexy housewife with no time for her husband.

He’s a really hot husband––How could someone not make time for him? Okay, the housewife works too much. She’s tired. Wait, that’s not helping what I need to do right now.

“I’ve just got a lot on my mind,” I said to Blake trying to play my part. Usually that would have been said with some sort of sexy undertone, but I wasn’t sure what I was supposed to do for this film.

  Just go with it.

“I know. We’ve had a lot going on lately.” Blake’s voice was soft and sweet, unlike my usual co-stars. “I’d like to make it up to you.” The last part lingered as his lips touched just beneath my ear. The soft way he did that threw me for a minute. Maybe this wasn’t the usual throw me down type of movie. Or was it? Maybe that was coming.

“Stay with me,” he whispered as the pads of his fingertips grazed my cheek. His other hand slid down, gliding over the side of my breast.

I inhaled a sharp breath, surprised how good such a small movement made me feel. Our eyes met and for a moment I was lost in his dark green orbs. There was a sweet spark to them, teasing me, almost wanting me to feel something more for him.

I’d had that once before and it was all a lie. Why would this be any different? This was a movie, but at the same time I was trying to put myself into the role, as if he were really mine. I should go for an academy award performance for this, but after getting crushed before, I couldn’t help but hold back.

His eyes left mine for just a moment as he glanced to my lips. The want was there. The desire began to stir deep within me while the need to protect myself was starting to fade fast. I knew it was way too quick, but for some reason, Blake felt like he would be different.

Pretend. Pretend he’s yours. He’s your husband––The man you married because you loved each other.

His hand reached up to thread through my hair, sliding down to sweep it off my shoulder. That same hand then touched my neck and moved down to my shoulder, slipping the silky material off. With my skin exposed, he bent down and the moment his lips grazed my neck I sucked in a deep breath.

Was it just the slow movements that were grabbing me? Was it because he was trying to be so different than what I was used to? That had to be it. I pushed hard, fighting away the feelings, keeping in mind this was all an act. A lie. It couldn’t be for real.

I felt his hand on my cheek along with the other one so he could direct my attention to him. “Stay with me,” his voice was more intense, but still had that same sweetness to it as before.

My lips parted while my mind searched for what I was supposed to do. In that very moment his lips crashed against mine. The kiss was so different than anything I’d ever felt before––in a movie or even in real life.

It was warm and romantic, yet firm with his desire. Our tongues entangled and I melted into his arms. This kiss was beautiful. It was heart stealing and filled with need. It wasn’t forced nor did it make me feel like I had to comply. He was willing me to enjoy every moment with him.

In that moment, more than anything, I wanted to be Blake’s wife. I wanted to be the woman he came home to every night. The woman he tried to make sure felt loved by him.

I lost it and moaned into his mouth. The kiss deepened and my breaths became ragged. My body reacted to the feel of his and every part of me wanted him.

  Just from that kiss.

That had never happened before during a scene. Or in real life.

“Cut!” Viviana’s word sliced through the air, pouring cold water over the heat that flowed through me.

Blake’s chuckle almost angered me. Actually, it did. Between Viviana breaking that amazing, heart stopping kiss that I wanted more of and the laugh coming from Blake, I was steaming.

“You okay?” He asked. His expression changed immediately. He must have sensed how ticked off I was.

“Yeah. I’m fine.” My words were said completely opposite of how I actually felt.

“We’re just moving this to the bedroom, that’s all.”

I swallowed and nodded as I glanced around. Maria came toward me with a powder brush in hand and began swiping it over my nose and chin. I grimaced as she giggled.

“That was some kiss.” The brush pulled to her chest with her hand as she rolled her eyes looking at the ceiling. “Wow. I’m all wet just watching,” she joked. Only she wasn’t joking. Her face was flushed too.

“I just wish it hadn’t stopped so quickly,” I murmured.

“I promise you more of that and other things too.” His breath tickled my ear as I immediately flushed. My eyes widened knowing he had heard me. “Is she ready yet?” Blake asked Maria directly.

Her mouth popped open wide as she nodded. Her eyes flicked to mine followed by a wink as she turned on her heel.

I glanced around the room and noticed the camera guy setting up in front of the bed. Stagehands were handling the lights. Immediately my heart dropped.

Reality set in. This was a set. It wasn’t real. That wasn’t the type of kiss I’d thought it had been, but wow, it felt so real. I closed my eyes and started thinking of all the sex acts I was going to perform. How my eyes needed to pop open and pretend to be so excited by his hard length as he shoved it down my throat. The fake noises I’d need to make. I inhaled a deep breath and then nodded as my stomach began to sink. It’s just another movie. Like all the other ones before.

At least Viviana wouldn’t take me into her office afterward and bend me over her desk like the other directors. They get hot and horny watching and want a little extra action afterward. It never mattered that I was exhausted after the scene wrapped up.

I pushed that thought out of my head and began walking toward the bedroom set.

Just another day at the office.

Blake’s hand grabbed mine tugging me to his chest. “I know what you’re thinking. This isn’t the same type of movie you usually need to make.”

“And how do you know that?”

“Because I’m in the same industry as you. I read and know exactly what Viviana wants to achieve with these films.” He turned me around and looked deep in my eyes. The fortress I had just built up in my mind started to crumble. Those damn green eyes were beautiful and full of…passion? It was something no other guy had looked at me with before.

I looked around at all the sam
e people standing around waiting on us. It was the same. He just didn’t realize it. It was another paycheck that I needed. It was another way to pay the bills.

“It is the same. They’re all the same.” I exhaled and began to walk away leaving him standing there staring after me.

I walked up to Viviana who was discussing something with the camera guy. “Where do you want me?” My voice sounded as annoyed as I felt. I wanted this to be different like she promised, but deep down I knew it wasn’t. I was on some emotional roller coaster of hope and needed to make sure I realized hope didn’t exist on this ride. It would be just another guy getting his rocks off, while I faked it for him so he could enjoy it more.

“If you could go back to the door and we’ll continue that kiss as he backs you up to the bed,” Viviana directed us.

I nodded and avoided her eyes. There was something in the lilt of her voice, that said she knew something I didn’t––Probably how she lied to me and this was just a regular old movie.

I walked over to the door and stood there waiting for Blake to come over. From the corner of my eye, I watched him walk past Viviana and say something to her. What it was, I wasn’t sure, but it annoyed me even more because they both laughed.

I glared at him, which made his smile broaden. Jerk.

He stood in front of me and looked down. The corner of his mouth was still turned up and that stupid spark in his eyes formed as if he were excited by something. Of course he was excited. A sex scene was coming up. He couldn’t wait to just shove it in me. I rolled my eyes and placed my hand on my hip.

“Glad you’re enjoying yourself.” What was I doing? I felt like a bitch. I was a bitch. I was acting like a toddler not getting her way. This paid the bills. I knew what I was supposed to do. It wasn’t as if any of this was a surprise.

I shook my head. “I’m sorry. It’s your job to enjoy yourself. I’ll be fine in a second.” I took a deep breath and mentally prepared myself for a sex scene.
